Yakshahejje School of Yakshagana and Performing Arts, was founded with the clear goal of preserving, developing, and introducing this traditional theater—Karnataka’s pride—to audiences in America. Initially started by a few Yakshagana enthusiasts, this organization now boasts over 30 students taking online classes through Zoom, reflecting its success in nurturing Yakshagana talent. Yakshahejje specializes in the Badagutittu style of Yakshagana.

Yakshahejje’s programs have also been showcased at prestigious venues such as Saint Louis, Bloomington in Indianapolis, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Columbus in Ohio, Houston in Texas, and various Florida Kannada kootas. Yakshahejje performances feature both adult and child artists. Yakshahejje offers performances in both Kannada and English, tailored to the host's preferences.
